2. Cu Chi Tunnels: Sprawling across an impressive 250 kilometers underneath the busy city of Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi Tunnels in Vietnam stand testament to the country's fractured past. Used by the army during the war against France, these well-preserved tunnels offer insight into the underground life led by the guerilla fighters.
3. Things Mu Pagoda: Nestled on the Ha Khe Hills, this 19th century Pagoda in Hue is well-regarded for its architectural brilliance. The 7-story tall Buddhist structure is home to some of the most brilliant works of art in Vietnam's history, including an enormous 18th century bell, a bronze gong dating even further back, and an ancient gilded board with inscriptions.
4. Notre Dame Cathedral: Erected by the erstwhile French imperialists of Vietnam, the Notre Dame Cathedral in Ho Chi Minh is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions of the city. Built in a neo-Romanesque style, this 8th century Cathedral is identified by its massive towers, stunning stained glass windows and the numerous stone sculptures that line the place.
